Collection: '51 Collection

1951. Mishawaka, Indiana. A rubber sole, a red dot, and a sneaker that changed what a sneaker could be.

The ’51 is where Red Ball Jets came back & and came back right. HI and LO silhouettes in bold, honest colorways: black, white, red, olive, navy, aqua, grey. No noise or nonsense. Just a shoe worth owning, at a price that respects you – while supplies last.

White Legacy HI sneakers resting on metal bleacher steps, showing the heel patch with the Red Ball Jets logo and the ribbed rubber sole detail along the side.

OLD SCHOOL IS THE NEW FLEX.

BALL-BAND had been making high-quality footwear in Mishawaka, Indiana for over 50 years when they launched Red Ball Jets in 1951. A performance rubber sole and signature red dot set them apart, earning their status as a true original. A Triple Cushion Arch Gard offered real comfort and natural support, proving to be a true advantage over their flat-footed rivals.

In 1971, the brand went quiet. In 2022, it took flight once more.
